Urban Waste Water Treatment
Spain has been held by the ECJ to be in breach of the urban waste water treatment Directive. The Court held that due to the lack of appropriate treatment for wastewater discharged in several sensitive areas in the Valencia region, Spain had failed in its obligations under Articles 3 and 5 of the legislation.
